CPR for Community Members
The Standard CPR/AED (ECSI) and Heartsaver CPR/AED (AHA) courses are community-focused training programs in emergency resuscitation for the lay rescuer. This course provides individuals in the community with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize emergencies and provide CPR for adults, children and infants until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. This program will teach individuals to perform resuscitation techniques for patients for all ages (CPR for Adult, Child and Infants) who are victims of sudden cardiac arrest, as well as those who are unresponsive or choking. w Injuries to head and spine
w Injuries to eyes, ears, nose and mouth w Abdominal, chest and pelvic injuries w Bone, joint and muscle injuries including splinting procedures
w Medical emergencies (heart attack, stroke, chest pain, breathing difficulty, seizures, diabetes)
w Emergencies during pregnancy w Poisoning
w Environmental emergencies (heat, cold, bites and stings, drowning)
